Why join the #SHPEFamilia?


TAMU SHPE is a great place to meet new people that share similar cultures and studies. Our members help each other to grow personally and professionally through the events we host. We have fun and get work done in our organizaton. Make friends that turn into family by attending our socials, such as our Bowling Social, or Ice Skating Social. Complete some work with new friends at Study Hours at the Annex, or learn how to build your resume at our Resume Workshop. TAMU SHPE does a great job of combining fun activities with meaningful workshops that help members gain professional skills and enjoy their time.

How do I become a member of the #SHPEFamilia?

You must complete BOTH the NATIONAL and TAMU CHAPTER application and pay their respective dues. Instructions on how to complete both are down below:

#TAMUSHPE Registration

  1. Fill out the following Google Doc: Click Here
  2. Pay $20 to cover your Chapter Dues (includes your very own #TAMUSHPE t-shirt) Here
  3. Continue below to complete the registration for SHPE National

SHPE National Registration

  1. Go to the following link to complete the registration: Click Here
  2. Go to "Join/Renew Membership", make sure to select Region 5 and Texas A&M University as your chapter
  3. Fill out your Account Information and make sure that the Educational Information given to you is correct
  4. Agree to the Code of Ethics and add the Membership to your cart
  5. Pay for the membership

Top point earners who are fully paid can be eligilbe for sponsorship to future National Conventions and have the opportunity to win various awards at the End of Year Banquet.
